The Terpsichore/Sesame DVDs are now ready and are available by mail order from the Sesame Institute office.
The three DVDs are
- The Making of Sesame - £10 + p&p This DVD is an interview with Marian (Billy) Lindkvist. Billy answers questions on the Sesame approach - and Movement with Touch among other topics.
- A short Introduction to Drama and Movement Therapy - £10 + p&p. This DVDs is intended for practitioners who want to provide a visual introduction to Sesame Dramatherapy, geared at service purchasers and funders. It includes short interviews and moments from sessions.
- An Introduction to Drama and Movement Therapy - £12 + p&p
This DVD is a longer introduction to Sesame, outlining the key components of the approach – Drama, Myths, Movement and Movement with Touch. It includes interviews and shows experiential sessions.

The Self through Drama & Movement - The Sesame Approach

This is the
first detailed account of the theory and practice of the Sesame
Method, which was created by Marian Lindkvist 30 years ago, as it
has evolved and been handed down experientially. It is now taught
at the Central School of Speech and Drama; many of the contributors
are current or former teachers at the school, or are Sesame trained
therapists working in the field. Jenny Pearson trained as a drama
and movement therapist on the Sesame Course at the Central School
of Speech and Drama and is now a tutor there. She also trained in
psychodynamic counselling at Westminster Pastoral Foundation, and
is now in private practice.
