Finding the hero inside

A man with Downs Syndrome was asked to describe the qualities that made a brave hero: he sculpted his partner into Robin Hood during this exercise. His partner held the shape and the man could then see that his feelings had actually come to life. The rest of the group cheered. Something of worth had been recognised and acknowledged.
